Welcome to Gorge Fly Shop's online site. Gorge Fly Shop is located in the small town of Hood River. Hood River is in the heart of Oregon and Washington's Columbia River Gorge. Fly fishers will be amazed by the variety of world-class fly fishing found so close to Hood River.
Nestled within the valleys of the Cascade Mountains you will find numerous rivers and lakes to try your skills at the sport of fly fishing, targeting: steelhead, salmon, trout, and smallmouth bass. Less than an hour away is the famous Deschutes River, known as one of the best summer steelhead streams in the west. The Deschutes is also home to an amazing strain of red band rainbow that has called this river home for thousands of years.
On our site you will find an online catalog stuffed with some of the best equipment from the best manufacturers money can buy. We offer free shipping within the United States on orders over $50, and shipping credits for international customers. Remember, Oregon has no sales tax. Service is our main priority; most items are shipped the same day.

Return Policy
Gorge Fly Shop, Inc. will make every effort within reason to ensure that you the customer is 100% satisfied with our service and products. If you are not happy with an item you may return the item in new condition within 7 days for a full refund except for shipping charges. Items covered by a manufacture warranty will need to be sent into that manufacture for warranty claims.
Sales Tax
Gorge Fly Shop, Inc. is located in Oregon which does not have or charge sales tax. Buy from us and save!
Domestic Shipping
All orders of $50.00 or more shipped within the continental US, Alaska and Hawaii are shipped for free. This free shipping is only offered in the lower 48 US States on float tubes, pontoon boats, and rafts. Items will be shipped UPS Ground or US Postal Service depending on your area, the size of the item and cost.
All items will be shipped with insurance included in free shipping.
Delivery time for UPS Ground generally takes 2-6 working days. US Postal Parcel Post generally takes 3-8 working days.
We can ship your order via faster methods if you request, you will be charged the additional shipping charges minus the standard shipping cost.
All orders are shipped next business day.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, if we believe it is in our best interest.
International Shipping
Most items are shipped US Postal Priority Mail unless length
or weight restrictions will not allow it, expect
delivery in 7-21 days. Items can be shipped express Mail for
an additional charge.
The most reliable and fastest method of shipping is UPS, this is much more expensive. Some items that are to long to ship through the Postal Service may have to be shipped through ups.
Standard International shipping charges are listed below for most items:
$20.00 - $299.99 order: standard shipping $19.95
$300.00 - $499.99 order: standard shipping $9.95
$500.00 and up order: standard shipping is FREE
Fly line orders over $50.00 can be shipped global priority for free due to their low weight. Check on other light weight items and we may offer a lower shipping cost on smaller orders.
Over sized or heavy items will not be shipped at our discounted standard shipping rate due to the expense. Extra shipping charges will apply so please check with us before ordering.
International shipping time is not guaranteed, some areas may take longer for shipping than others. Shipping time does not always include time spent in customs, some customs offices are slower than others.
Customer is responsible for any customs or duty fees on merchandise.
