Flats fishing and nearshore scenarios tend to demand a rod that loads quickly, stays stable in the wind, and turns over leaders and flies without feeling sloppy. The Exocett 88 is aimed squarely at that style of fishing, crisp in hand and ready to deliver when you have one clean window to make it count.

Where this rod shines is in real-world casting. Quick pick-ups, direction changes, and pushing tight loops into wind are the day-to-day moves on the flats, and a fast, responsive blank helps you stay efficient instead of working harder than you need to. If you are building a premium saltwater rod setup for bonefish, permit, tarpon, stripers, or similar hard-charging fish, the Exocett 88 is a strong choice when you want a rod that feels deliberate and precise.

FREE FLY LINE included to help you complete the system and get fishing with a balanced, ready-to-go setup.

The new Exocett™ 88 is built to handle a wide variety of fishing situations with precision and ease. With its easy-loading, progressive action, it’s designed to adapt seamlessly—whether you’re lifting and aerializing heavy sinking lines or delivering accurate floating line presentations. At 8'8" with a steep taper, the Exocett™ 88 offers ultra-fast recovery, enabling effortless long-distance casting. Designed to minimize fatigue, it’s perfect for all-day fishing. Built with proprietary multi-modulus carbon and S-Glass layups, the 88 has significantly more strength than previous composites, giving it superior hoop strength and reducing swing weight.
