Straight up the best baitfish fly ever made, and I don’t think that anyone would disagree with me on that. Any fish that eats other fish will eat a clouser minnow if it sees it. I fished for six weeks in Baja Sur, Mexico a few years ago and after two days realized that it was the only fly I needed. And I only fished that fly for the rest of the trip with great success. It should really be one of the first flies to go into a saltwater box, and one of the first to be fished.
