Review: I bought the spare spool to give me an easy alternative fly line option while fly fishing. The spare spool is a reel multiplier and is incredibly useful. The spool matches my amazing Abel SDF Reel perfectly. Like everything ordered from Abel it is custom made for the order and it does take time. Gorge Fly Shop provided great service and is arguably the finest fly shop in the US to purchase quality fly fishing rods and reels. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the nuances of products that they sell.
