Review: As always Gorge Fly Shop service was amazing. I fish the White River in Arkansas. We use a lot of 6wts due to a great deal of nymph fishing deep. Since getting this rod I have been primarily using it. The extra length makes everything from casting to mending very easy. Just purchased the same rod in a 5wt version for my wife. Comments on casting is to be deliberate in allowing the back cast to load and let the rod work. You can’t be quick. I am most impressed with the improved mending ability. Really extends your drifts.
