"Simms Alumibite Cleats: better than hoped for"

Review: I had high hopes for the Simms Alumibite Cleats, and they've exceeded them. I've used Patagonia Foot Tractors [I'm one of those who think those things are too heavy], and I've got Korkers with Alumatrax soles. The aluminum soles of each of those make for great tractionbut I think these might be better. I've only used them one day (McKenzie and upper Willamette), and so cannot comment on durability (will the screws work loose from the soles? I can't say), but I had nary a single slip of aluminum across rock. Paired with Simms boots, I can't think of a better combo. Extremely fast shipping from Gorge Fly Shop, as always. Thanks.
