Review: Very helpful staff, 200 yards gel spun backing perfect amount for shooting line and shooting heads. Took this reel out for a spin at my local striper spot on the SF Bay and could not be happier. Super nice drag. I’ve been using Lamson Guru for a while it is a good reel, however this Nautilus is the real deal, worth the money.

Review: I was sold on the Nautilus CCF-X2 after my recent trip to Florida Tarpon fishing two years ago. To make the story short, the guides reel that I was using had been under saltwater for nearly an hour before he recovered it, having done zero maintenance on it a year later, I was using it and it was still going strong. That was when I was sold on the CCF-X2 and I had to get one for myself. One of the best reels I have ever owned. Sweet clicking sound, smooth drag system with a wide range of motion. Perfect for saltwater fishing and your Spey rod. Definitely will buy another when in the market.
