"Simms rubber wading staff tip"

Review: Changed from old aluminum tip to the newer rubber design. No more "tink, tinking " sound as I wade on rocky bottoms. Trick: to keep your tip from unscrewing during a day’s fishing use some form of thread sealant, like Locktight when affixing it to the shaft.

"Good addition, but should come standard"

Review: This tip is sturdy and quiet. It's definitely the go-to tip. The aluminum tip might be better for some situations, but this should be the one that comes standard. Still, given that it's not, it's a must-have item.
