Review: I love a click pawl reel and this has been one of my favorites for some years now. The Salmon #2 is perfect for any two handed rod from 11' to 13.5' rod and the #1 is at home on most Trout Spey rods. A fun reel! I love the classic looks and I really love it when I'm hooked up to a fish and my friends know it!

Review: Know that these reels do not have ball bearings and must be maintained. That said, I have fished for fifty years with reels like this and not had any problems. Simple, efficient and well made. load up gobs of backing and they retrieve like large arbor reels.

Review: The fit and finish is impeccable. Big improvement over the old SA's I am use to.
