Review: This is our first Bougle. If you don't have one, they're much more impressive in person than in pictures. It's a well built and beautiful piece of old school engineering. If you like loud reels, this one is great! Based on it's design, you will never have your running line slip through a gap to get stuck somewhere it shouldn't be like some reels. Depending on how you mount it, it takes getting used to to palm drag, as it does not have a palming ring to the outside of the spool. The spool is contained within the frame. Thus, you have to palm the face of the spool. It ups the challenge a bit in a fun way.
