Review: I purchased the Echo Ion XL 5wt. 10’ rod for Stillwater fishing. I used it this spring on Idaho high dessert lakes,for chironomiding w/ long leaders & indicator. It works great. Has the backbone for casting long leaders yet soft enough tip to chironomid w/ 4X tippet & #14 #16 hooks.
