We’ve moved Gorge Fly Shop to an entirely new ecommerce platform with cleaner navigation, better mobile shopping, easier checkout, and a fresh foundation for what comes next.
The website is new. The shop behind it is not. You’ll still find the same Gorge Fly Shop team, gear, experience, and personal service we’ve provided since 1992.
What You Need to Know
- Guest checkout is back. You do not need an account to place an order.
- Old website accounts did not transfer. There is no need to recover or reset your old login.
- Past online order history will not appear in the new store.
- Need information from an older purchase? Contact us soon. For a limited time, we will still have access to portions of our previous system and may be able to help locate past order details.

This was one of the features we most wanted to bring back. You can browse the store, add what you need to your cart, and complete your purchase without creating a customer account.
If you prefer to use an account, that option is available too. But an account is no longer required just to place an order.
Need a Record of a Past Purchase?
We are moving forward with a clean slate, which means customer accounts and historical online orders from our previous website were not transferred into the new store.
If you need help identifying something you purchased from us in the past couple years, please contact us sooner rather than later.

SteelheadBum.com is our steelhead-focused store for rods, reels, lines, flies, apparel, and gear. It has its own identity, but it is still backed by the same Gorge Fly Shop crew in Hood River.

We are still the same independent fly shop established in Hood River, Oregon, in 1992.

Moving a store this large to a completely new platform involves a lot of moving parts. If you find a broken link, missing information, an odd-looking page, or something that simply does not work the way it should, please let us know.
