OPST Lines

Build a compact Skagit system with OPST fly lines designed for single-hand, switch, trout Spey, and two-handed rods. Explore Commando shooting heads, integrated line systems, and Lazar and Oval running lines for swinging flies across a wide range of freshwater applications.

➤ Choose the Right OPST Line

The right OPST line depends on your rod, casting style, target species, and whether you prefer a separate shooting-head system or an integrated fly line. Commando Heads provide a compact Skagit option, while Commando Smooth lines combine the shooting head and running line into one continuous system.

Consider the recommended grain weight, head configuration, running-line preference, and sink-tip requirements for your setup. Lazar and Oval running lines provide separate options for anglers building modular shooting-head systems.

Gorge Fly Shop has carried OPST gear for 10 years, giving our team solid familiarity with Commando Heads, running lines, sink tips, and compact Skagit systems.
