Designed in collaboration with renowned steelhead angler and fly designer Jerry French, Aqua Talon Swing Hooks are built for the demands of modern steelhead and salmon fly fishing. Whether you're tying Intruder patterns, articulated steelhead flies, or trailer-hook rigs, these hooks combine strength, sharpness, and reliable penetration in a purpose-built swing hook.
The Aqua Talon 3474 Swing Hook features a continuous round bend for strength, a slightly dropped point for effective hook placement, and fine wire construction that helps the hook penetrate with less pressure. An offset point further supports secure hook-ups when a steelhead or salmon takes a swung fly.
A 20° upturned eye is designed for a clean girth-hitch connection to trailing loops, making these hooks particularly well suited for shank-style flies, Intruders, and articulated patterns. The small micro barb provides additional holding security and can be easily pinched down when a barbless hook is preferred or required.
Made in Japan, Aqua Talon Swing Hooks reflect years of on-the-water experience and a design focused on dependable hooking performance.
