Choose the Right Emerger or Soft Hackle

Emerger flies imitate insects rising through the water column or struggling in the surface film. Match the size, color, and profile of the natural insects present, especially when trout are feeding just beneath the surface.

Soft hackles create natural movement and can be dead-drifted, lifted, stripped, or swung through the current. Carry several sizes and colors to match mayfly, caddis, and midge activity as conditions change.
