From lightweight trout reels to large-arbor freshwater and saltwater designs, Gorge Fly Shop carries trusted fly reels for a wide range of fishing styles and destinations.

Choose a reel that matches your rod, line weight, and the fish you plan to pursue. Trout reels can stay light and simple, while steelhead, salmon, and saltwater reels benefit from greater capacity, stronger drag systems, and durable construction. Arbor size, backing capacity, weight, and drag performance all play a role in finding the right balance.

A well-matched reel should balance comfortably with your rod, hold the appropriate fly line and backing, and provide the drag performance needed for the fish you are targeting.

Since 1992, our team has helped anglers match fly reels with the right rods and lines. Whether you are building your first outfit, upgrading a favorite setup, or preparing for a destination trip, we are here to help you find the right reel.
