Purpose-Built Saltwater Performance
The G. Loomis IMX-PRO V2S is built for anglers who make time on the water a priority, from first-light starts to the final cast of the day. This saltwater series continues G. Loomis’ long-standing focus on developing actions that help put the fly where you want it, even when wind, distance, and demanding conditions complicate the cast.
IMX-PRO V2S actions are tuned for three important saltwater tasks: tracking accurately in the wind, lifting generous lengths of line before the recast, and maintaining authority during the fight. Plenty of power through the lower half of the rod helps generate line speed and move larger flies, while a slightly tighter tip helps reduce tailing loops and improve tracking and line pickup.
Conduit Core Technology and the GL7 Resin System work together to provide added strength and impact resistance without unnecessary weight. The result is a responsive blank that remains light in hand while delivering the power needed when a cast quickly turns into a fight.
Each rod is handcrafted in Woodland, Washington, and finished with saltwater-ready components selected for durability and dependable performance.
