We added picture below plus a few others in the photo library to really show the Gunmetal Color of this reel. The factory stock photos seem to show the reel as more silver colored than what we experienced. They also didn't provide a good view of the carbon fiber frame spokes. This reel pictured is a 10000 size or a 10/11/12. At the top of this photo you can see the caged frame unique to the 10000 and 12000 sizes.
Hardy Zane Carbon fly reels are built for anglers who want a modern reel that stays light in hand but feels solid under pressure. The focus here is practical performance: smooth drag control, clean line pickup, and a build that holds up to long days on the water. If you fish larger rivers, cover water quickly, or simply prefer a reel that balances well without adding weight, Zane Carbon is worth a hard look.
The Free Fly Line offer makes it easier to complete a balanced setup right away. Choose the reel size that matches your rod and target species, then round out your system with a line that fits the way you fish.
