Nautilus CCF-X2 Fly Reels

Full Description

The Nautilus CCF-X2 delivers next-level performance for saltwater anglers at a more approachable price. Built for the demands of powerful saltwater gamefish, the CCF-X2 combines a large-arbor design with Nautilus' proven construction to provide the strength, capacity, and fast line recovery needed when you're connected to a fish that can take you deep into the backing.

Available in 6/8, 8/10, and 10/12 sizes, the CCF-X2 covers a wide range of saltwater applications. The 8/10 and 10/12 models offer an especially versatile setup: both sizes use the same reel body and differ only in the spool. With the appropriate spool, one reel body can handle either line size, giving anglers the functionality of two reels without having to purchase two complete setups.

The CCF-X2 is built for anglers who want serious saltwater performance without stepping all the way up to the Silver King. Its substantial backing capacity makes it well suited to tarpon and other powerful gamefish, while the smaller 6/8 model brings the same CCF-X2 design philosophy to lighter saltwater applications.

Versatile by Design

The CCF-X2 also includes Nautilus' Speyrings, four small rings that snap onto the reel frame to close the gap between the frame and spool. This helps prevent thin running lines from slipping through the frame when using the reel for two-handed or Spey applications. It's a useful bit of added versatility for anglers who want one reel that can move between saltwater and freshwater applications.

Note: The CCF-X2 8/10 and 10/12 use the same reel body. The difference is the spool, allowing the same reel body to accommodate either size.
