Scientific Anglers Amplitude Smooth Bonefish Plus

Based on our popular Grand Slam taper profile, Bonefish Plus boasts an extended head length and lighter, half-heavy, weight, but maintains the short front taper to cast long leaders with ease.

Extended head length and a half-size-heavy profile help you carry long leaders, form tight loops, and stay in control when the wind turns your “one good shot” into a real test. On the flats, that extra load-up makes it easier to get the rod working quickly, keep line speed high with a clean double haul, and place the fly far enough ahead of spooky fish without crashing the presentation.

A day of bonefishing will either be the most fun you've had with a fly rod or the most frustrating day of your life. Take some of the chance out of the equation with the Amplitude Smooth Bonefish. Built on a stiff core for tropical conditions, and featuring our AST Plus slickness additive, the Bonefish taper is designed with a long, compound head for casting accuracy and delicate deliveries to fish that you'll swear have a sixth sense.
