Scientific Anglers Sonar Sink 25 Cold

A coldwater streamer weapon with a fast-sinking 25’ head—now available in Sink 3 (S3) and Sink 6 (S6) options to dial in your depth and presentation.

The Scientific Anglers Sonar Sink 25 Cold is built for anglers who need to get flies down fast and keep them in the strike zone. Featuring a compact 25-foot sinking head, this line delivers rapid depth penetration while maintaining excellent control through a large-diameter handling section.

Designed specifically for coldwater conditions, the Sink 25 excels when throwing streamers for trout, bass, steelhead, and other predatory species. Its low-tangle design and floating running line help maximize casting distance and line management, even in tough environments.

New Addition: The lineup now includes a Sink 3 (S3) option (approx. 3–4 ips), giving anglers a more controlled, moderate sink rate for shallower water, slower currents, or situations where maintaining a higher swing is key. This complements the proven Sink 6 (S6) (approx. 4–8 ips) for getting deep quickly in faster or deeper water.

Whether you’re dredging deep runs or working mid-column structure, the Sink 25 Cold now offers greater versatility than ever, allowing you to fine-tune your presentation based on depth, current speed, and fly size.
