A short 5.5-foot Sink 2 tip sinks at approximately 2.0 inches per second, while the floating head and running line keep the rest of the system high and manageable.
The result is a highly specialized stillwater line that lets you get flies just beneath the surface without committing the entire line to a sinking presentation. The sinking tip helps anchor the line and leader in the water, making it easier to maintain control when fishing in windy conditions.
